Kristen Burke is a core member in Egon Zehnder’s Human Resources Practice and leads the firm’s Future of HR platform, with a focus on how AI, technology, and business transformation are reshaping the expectations of CHROs and senior people leaders. She advises CEOs, CHROs, boards, and executive teams on the leadership capabilities required to build future-ready HR functions, strengthen talent strategy, and translate enterprise change into people, culture, and capability decisions.
Kristen partners with clients across technology, industrial, consumer, and services sectors on senior HR leadership mandates, including CHRO/CPO, Head of Talent, HRBP, and HR transformation roles. Given her previous product leadership, she brings a distinctive perspective at the intersection of HR and technology, helping organizations identify leaders who can build modern people capabilities and guide workforces through disruption.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Kristen spent more than a decade leading front-end innovation, product, and digital experimentation teams, most recently at Georgia-Pacific, where she spearheaded IoT and emerging technology initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked in strategy consulting and sales, experiences that shaped her commercial orientation and approach to advising leaders through transformation. Kristen earned a BBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and an MBA from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business. She serves on the board of the Alliance Theatre and supports the NSORO Educational Foundation.
