Overview 

With over 30 years of health and wellbeing consulting and public speaking experience, Robin is an industry disruptor helping individuals, employers, and vendors to creatively solve problems, achieve behavior change, and drive sustainable outcomes. 

Experience 

Robin began her career in 1993 with a leading health insurer where she witnessed the infancy of managed care and employer-sponsored alternative medicine programs. After relocating to the Boston area, Robin joined Aon in 1999 and served as a consultant in the Health Solutions practice before transitioning to the Health Transformation Team in 2013. 

Expertise 

During her 13 years as a dedicated wellbeing consultant on Aon’s Health Transformation Team, Robin led a broad range of client projects including: 

  • Data analysis 

  • Key stakeholder interviews and focus groups 

  • Strategy development 

  • Incentive design 

  • Vendor selection and oversight 

  • Scorecard development 

In 2026, Robin founded DISRUPTIVE BY DESIGN LLC to directly provide strategic consulting services to organizations.  

Robin has completed the following training and certification programs:

  • Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist (Corporate Health & Wellness Association)

  • “Work, Health and Wellbeing: Strategic Solutions for Integrating Wellness and Occupational Safety and Health in the Workplace,” an Executive and Continuing Professional Education course, Harvard School of Public Health 

  • “The Psychology of Wellbeing” course, Yale University 

She has also served on the faculty of the Corporate Health & Wellness Association to guide the development of the next generation of worksite wellbeing practitioners. 

Robin is a long-time member of many regional and national associations representing health, wellbeing, and employee benefits. She has played leadership roles for most of these organizations as a Board member, chair or co-chair of various committees and initiatives. Since 2024 she has served as co-chair of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Community Leadership Board in New England and is a member of their Obesity Organization Payor Employer Advisory Group. From 2017-2026, Robin served as an annual conference committee member and consultant workshop facilitator for the Council on Employee Benefits (CEB). She co-chaired the Health & Productivity Committee for the Rhode Island Business Group on Health from 2013–2021 and served on the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts Board of Directors from 2019–2021.  

Robin appears regularly as a featured speaker at HR, benefits, and wellbeing industry events across the country and has contributed to articles in several publications. She is currently writing her first book, “Disruptive by Design: Helping You Change for Good.”  

Education & Licenses 

Robin earned a B.S. in marketing from the Farmer Business School at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. 

She is a licensed insurance broker (National Producer #5411315).
