Tim McNicholas is the Managing Partner of Egon Zehnder’s Boston office and is a former leader of the Human Resources Practice in the United States. He has led many of the firm’s largest CHRO and Chief People Officer searches, advising organizations on the HR leadership capabilities needed to shape talent strategy, strengthen succession, modernize HR operations, and drive business performance. Tim brings deep knowledge of talent management, rewards, HR business partnering, and HR operating models.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Tim worked in executive development and management consulting. As Vice President of Executive Development at Siemens AG, he worked directly with the CEO, CFO, and CHRO to design and execute international hiring strategies, strengthen executive succession planning, and improve visibility into high-potential talent. He also redesigned the executive education curriculum for Siemens’ top 250 leaders globally, creating immersive programs focused on leadership, collaboration, and enterprise-wide impact. Earlier, Tim led Siemens Management Consulting in New York and held consulting roles at A.T. Kearney and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Tim earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Ohio State University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
