Imagine Forward

2026 CHRO Fall Forum

September 9-10, 2026

The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C.

Spend two days in Washington with the CHROs whose adaptive workforce strategies can withstand whatever comes out of this Congress, this White House, and this regulatory cycle.

The CHRO Fall Forum—formerly the Washington Policy Conference—is built for HR leaders who can’t afford to be reactive. You’ll leave with an overview of the practice, regulatory, and political shifts heading into next year, and what they mean for the decisions ahead.

We start Wednesday evening with our bipartisan dinner featuring leaders from both sides of the aisle who will speak candidly about the political moment and how it’s impacting the workforce. It’s the kind of unscripted, off-the-record exchange that’s hard to find anywhere else in DC.

On Thursday we begin our core agenda featuring talks on the CEO–CHRO relationship, AI’s impact on the workforce, the next wave of healthcare pressures, and the cultural issues Fortune 500 HR leaders are wrestling with right now.

Explore Our Agenda: Imagine Forward 2026

Our agenda brings together the top minds in HR Policy and Practice, geopolitical experts, and bi-partisan leaders at the state and federal levels to offer the latest insights on decisions that will impact your 2027 strategy.

The CHRO Fall Forum puts you in the room with the people that matter most. Together, we have unmistakable conversations.

Wednesday Evening Bi-Partisan Discussion

Former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano (D) and former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan (R) come together for a candid, bipartisan discussion entitled "The States Take the Lead: Policy, Politics, and the Future of the American Workforce”  on Wednesday, September 9.  Moderated by CHRO Association’s CEO, Tim Bartl.

Leading the Workforce Through the AI Transformation

Artificial intelligence is accelerating changes in how work is performed, how skills are developed, and how organizations prepare their people for the future. In this discussion, leading experts and corporate leaders explore how AI is reshaping jobs, how companies are approaching reskilling and workforce readiness, and what leaders must do to ensure their organizations remain adaptable in an era of rapid technological change.

CHROs will gain an overview of how AI is creating and displacing work with practical ways to approach reskilling. Plus, insights on how the HR function itself must evolve to steer AI-enabled enterprises.
