Join the CHRO Association and HTA for a practical, executive-level briefing on a topic that’s often overlooked but has significant financial impact: the fine print in your TPA/carrier contract.
Contract language drives claims outcomes. This session will spotlight common administrative and reimbursement clauses that can create unintended costs — especially when payment methodologies overlap (e.g., DRG pricing vs. “lesser of billed charges”).
We’ll discuss why periodic contract review matters, how it can help manage and control claim costs, and what to watch for at renewal. Attendees will leave with a practical oversight checklist to help identify plan leakage, strengthen audit and recoupment protections, and use renewal cycles to tighten contract terms.
