Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI) introduced the AWARE Act, inside the AI Data Collection Bill, which would expand federal data collection on workplace AI use, including its impact on jobs, tasks and training needs.
Legislative Outlook: No organizations have publicly endorsed the bill to date. BLS would start collecting this information within 18 months of enactment.
